A family spokesperson has confirmed that Kamar de los Reyes, a talented actor known for his role as Antonio Vega on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live, passed away on December 24 in Los Angeles after a brief battle with cancer.
He was 56. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Las Vegas, de los Reyes made significant contributions to both television and the video game industry. In addition to his notable appearances in crime and drama shows such as Castle, Shooter, SEAL Team, and The Rookie, he also portrayed the character Raul Menendeza in several popular installments of the Call of Duty franchise, providing both voice and motion-captured acting. His presence will be sorely missed, as he was a respected and longstanding figure in both the entertainment and gaming communities.
Furthermore, de los Reyes expressed his profound admiration for the franchise, referring to it as “one of the most remarkable endeavors” he had ever been involved in.
