KEEP2KNOW EXCLUSIVE: Captures exclusive footage of Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s release, featuring her husband and a camera crew chronicling her journey post-incarceration, giving an insight into her life beyond prison bars.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, a well-known convict, was released on parole early Thursday. Her spouse Ryan Scott Anderson and a camera crew were there to capture her departure as she exited the Chillicothe Correctional Center and got into a car. Despite trying to keep journalists away from the jail, she’s participating in an upcoming Lifetime documentary that will chronicle her journey.

Ryan, a teacher from Louisiana who married Gypsy while she was incarcerated last year, documented his wife’s first moments of liberation following her seven-year imprisonment. After spending a few hours together, Ryan and the photographer returned to their hotel without Gypsy, giving her a chance to acclimate to her newfound freedom.

As we initially reported, Gypsy’s release was highly confidential, with strict measures in place to maintain secrecy. No media personnel or fans were permitted on the premises, and the parking lot was strictly off-limits to ensure her privacy during this transition.

Ryan and his photographer held a unique position as they were the only ones granted access to document Gypsy’s release. Their car stood out, not just due to the distinctive ‘Hitman’ license plate, a nod to a renowned WWE wrestler, but also because it was the sole vehicle present in an otherwise empty parking lot. Gypsy’s return has sparked great anticipation as she completes a decade-long prison term stemming from her conviction in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who had allegedly compelled Gypsy to feign disability for years.

Nick Godejohn, Gypsy’s boyfriend at the time, confessed to killing Dee Dee in 2015 as a means to assist Gypsy in escaping her mother’s control. He remains imprisoned for life, while Gypsy has completed her decade-long sentence and is now facing the challenge of readjusting to life outside of prison walls.

We previously reported that Gypsy was granted parole in September, which has now led to her release on Thursday, three years ahead of her initial release date.

Gypsy’s case gained widespread attention and inspired an HBO documentary and a Hulu series. However, her personal account will now be presented through the upcoming three-part documentary, “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Blanchard,” which explains the presence of a camera crew during her release.

The upcoming documentary, scheduled for release in 2024, will capture moments from Gypsy and Ryan’s intimate prison wedding and follow Gypsy’s journey as she navigates life outside of prison. Additionally, the documentary promises an inside look at her first experiences, including a trip to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play, with a chance encounter with pop icon Taylor Swift on the cards!
