Cardi B and Offset are facing legal action for allegedly failing to pay rent and damaging the Beverly Hills property they rented.
Based on the documents obtained by NEWS, Cardi B and Offset began renting the luxurious Beverly Hills residence in early 2022 but vacated the property in October without providing any notice. According to the landlord’s claim, the couple had outstanding rent and utility payments when they left the property.
The property’s owners reportedly discovered extensive damage after the couple’s departure. This included irreversible scratches on tile floors, rugs, and curtains, broken furniture, holes in walls, and burn marks on various surfaces such as tables, countertops, and cabinets.
The landlord estimates the damage costs to be approximately $85,000 and claims that numerous attempts have been made to address the matter without success.
Amidst Cardi B and Offset’s high-profile breakup, where Cardi accused Offset of infidelity and announced their separation, the couple is now entangled in a legal dispute related to property damage and unpaid rent, totaling $85,000, according to the landlord’s estimates.
We have contacted Cardi B and Offset’s representatives to solicit their comments on the matter, but thus far, we are yet to receive any response from either party.
