In the most recent figures, only 8% of people in Britain have a favorable view of him. The lack of sympathy for Prince Andrew is also evident within royal circles, with sources suggesting that Prince William opposed his participation in public parts of the annual Order of the Garter procession. Additionally, royal insiders have expressed frustration that Prince Andrew has not shown any contrition or involvement in charities or good works, which might be seen as a way back.
