The Television Academy Hosts the 75th Creative Arts Emmy Awards Ceremony to Celebrate Excellence in Television

The Television Academy recently held the inaugural ceremony of its 75th Creative Arts Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live, marking the beginning of the 75th Emmys. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards are presented in two ceremonies, with this being the first. The second ceremony will take place on September 17, 2022. The winners from both ceremonies will be compiled into an edited presentation that will air on FXX on January 13, 2024, at 8:00 PM EST/PST and will be available for streaming on Hulu.

This year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards also recognized outstanding achievements in music composition, with awards going to composers such as Jeff Russo for “Star Trek: Discovery,” Mac Quayle for “American Horror Stories,” Brian Reitzell for “Maid,” Daniel Licht for “Unsolved Mysteries,” and Nicholas Britell for “Succession.” In addition, awards were presented in various categories related to special visual effects, including Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role (Less Than One Hour) for “Star Trek: Discovery,” Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role (One Hour or More) for “Loki,” Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Program (Less Than One Hour) for “WandaVision,” Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Program (One Hour or More) for “The Mandalorian,” and Outstanding Special Visual Effects in an Episode, Miniseries, Movie or Special (Less Than One Hour) for “Star Trek: Lower Decks.”
