Steve Burton, an actor known for his role in “General Hospital,” has officially ended his marriage to Sheree Gustin. According to recent legal documents, the couple reached a settlement agreement, approved by a judge on Wednesday, that grants them joint legal and physical custody of their two underage children, Jack and Brooklyn. This development marks the completion of their divorce process.
According to the settlement agreement, Steve will contribute $12,500 monthly for child support, broken down into $10,000 for their 9-year-old daughter Brooklyn and $2,500 for their 17-year-old son Jack.
Once Jack reaches the age of 18 at the end of March, Steve’s child support responsibilities towards him will be lifted. However, Steve will continue to provide financial support of $10,000 for Brooklyn until she reaches the age of 18.
Under the terms of their agreement, Steve and Sheree mutually decided to forego any claims for spousal maintenance. However, Steve is committed to paying Sheree a total sum of $50,000 through monthly installments of $2,500.
KEEP2KNOW previously reported that Steve filed for divorce in July 2022, following 23 years of marriage, just two months after he alleged that Sheree was expecting a child and he was not the biological father.
Both parties have finalized their divorce and are now proceeding independently to pursue their separate lives.
