During a high-speed police chase in Los Angeles, a shocking and disturbing moment was captured on camera as the suspect hurled a small dog out of the window while fleeing from the authorities.
A suspect, sought for vandalism, triggered a high-speed pursuit with California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers on multiple Los Angeles freeways on Thursday afternoon, eventually transitioning onto surface streets in the Pomona suburb, causing chaos and danger to others.
As the suspect led the police on a high-speed chase, he callously threw the small dog out of his vehicle, causing the pursuing officers to suddeny swerve to avoid hitting the defenseless animal, adding to the chaos and danger of the situation.
The suspect’s recklessness continued as he hit two more vehicles, including a head-on collision at 60mph, which finally ended the chase. Sadly, the fate of the tossed dog remains unknown, leaving a trail of destruction and concern for the well-being of all affected.
The police swiftly surrounded the suspect’s truck, shouting commands for him to exit the vehicle, but he refused to comply. Officers then utilized non-lethal rounds to shatter his window, and subsequently dragged him out of the truck to take him into custody. Fortunately, the drivers of the two vehicles he collided with escaped with minor injuries and were able to walk away from the scene.
