Ryan Shazier, a former linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has initiated divorce proceedings against his wife Michelle Shazier, just weeks after she publicly accused him of infidelity and presented text message evidence of his alleged affair with another woman.

According to SportsNews, Ryan Shazier, 31, filed for divorce on Wednesday, but the court documents are currently sealed, limiting access to further details about the divorce proceedings.
In late November 2023, Michelle, 26, vented her frustration on social media, alleging that Ryan had been exchanging text messages with another woman, sharing what appeared to be evidence of his infidelity, and sparking a public controversy.
“Infidelity at its finest,” Michelle declared in her post, accompanying screenshots of the incriminating messages. “I can’t keep hiding the truth anymore. I deserve better. This is Ryan… a liar and a cheater!” she proclaimed, exposing his alleged infidelity for all to see.
